Permanent-magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) are used widely in wind turbine applications. The performance analysis of PMSG can be enhanced by adopting a number control mechanisms with the benefit advanced optimization techniques. Renewable energy is harnessed from continuously replenishing natural processes. Some commonly known sunlight, water, wind, tides, geothermal heat and various forms biomass. focus on renewable has over past few decades intensified greatly. This paper presents modeling strategy for grid connected system based Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG). considered back-to-back converter topology. Grid Side Converter (GSC) achieves DC bus voltage unity power factor. Machine (MSC) assures speed control. as variable directly to without gearbox. pitch angle not either this study. Further, Optimal Tip Speed Ratio MPPT ensure most efficiency whatever variations. A filter (L) put between GSC reduce current ripple improve injected quality.During faults, hierarchical coordinated scheme generator-side converter, main grid-side auxiliary depending sags, presented enhance low ride through (LVRT) capability direct-driven WT.
